Vibra Hospital of Charleston is a beautiful, state-of-the-art, 59 -bed hospital, conveniently located in historic Mt. Pleasant off of Hwy 17 North near US 526.. Features of our hospital include: spacious private rooms, two operating rooms, 8-bed Special Patient Care Unit, rehab gym, wound care program, an aggressive ventilator weaning and respiratory therapy program, and in-house radiology, pharmacy and laboratory services. In addition to all of this, we offer on-site dialysis for our patients. Vibra Hospital of Charleston s Pulmonary Care Program is led by Board Certified pulmonologists and an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The team communicates daily to address problems early before they impede treatment. Whether it is ventilator weaning and management, speaking mode ventilators, tracheostomy care and weaning, O2 management, or Therapy Services, we have you covered! Vibra Hospital of Charleston also provides specialized wound care services for patients with impaired tissue integrity who are at risk of further complications. Led by our Medical Director of Wound Care, our experienced clinical staff uses a variety of treatments to assist in the healing process. The team communicates daily to address problems early before they impede treatment. Whether it is debridements, dietary support, IV antibiotic therapy, rehabilitation or appropriate placement, our team approach is essential to quality outcomes. Within our beautiful, state of the art hospital is the Transitional Care Unit. This 35 bed unit provides the highest quality nursing and rehab care for patients who no longer require hospital level of care, but are not yet able to manage at home. With a beautiful dining area, new gym, and on-site services provided by the hospital, the Transitional Care Unit is a great place to take the next step to getting home. Vibra Charleston also specializes in the treatment of medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization. We are passionate about giving our patients the best chance at recovery from acute injury or illness by providing early and aggressive intervention in a critical care setting. Our treatment team includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists and dieticians, as well as therapists across a range of disciplines: physical, speech, occupational, respiratory and psychosocial. We believe this interdisciplinary approach helps speed physical, emotional and spiritual recovery.
